Youngstown AIDS Walk-a-thon. The HEAL (Healthy Environment for AIDS Living) Foundation of MCCDP, Inc. is raising funds to help provide emergency housing in the Youngstown area for people with AIDS. One of its annual projects is the Heel for HEAL Walk-a-thon to be held this year on August 28 in Mill Creek Park.

Walker participants raise funds by seeking sponsors to pledge $5 for their efforts. If walking doesn't interest you, perhaps you could encourage business associates to walk and offer to sponsor them; or how about a team of walkers to represent your group, company or organization (or even compete with a rival), or a donation toward one of the grand prizes.

For more information and registration or sponsor forms, please call 797-0070, and ask for HEAL information.
